Our Story

Built on decades of practical innovation and steady growth, Peerless Manufacturing has evolved from a single-industry into a trusted manufacturing partner across multiple markets.

Since 1954

Peerless Manufacturing was founded in 1954 in Shellman, Georgia, where the company began by developing the first mechanical peanut curing system. That early innovation established a foundation built on practical engineering, durability, and problem-solving. Shortly after its founding, Peerless moved to its current location along U.S. Highway 82, where it now operates a manufacturing facility encompassing more than four acres under one roof.

Expanding Capabilities

While Peerless has a strong history in agricultural equipment with drying and curing systems used for a wide variety of crops and materials, the company’s capabilities have expanded significantly over the years. Today, Peerless Manufacturing serves multiple industries, including agricultural manufacturing, airline ground support equipment, and material handling solutions. This growth reflects decades of hands-on experience and the ability to adapt manufacturing expertise to meet changing industry needs.

December 2024

In December 2024, Peerless Manufacturing was acquired by Harrell Ag.  The acquisition marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Peerless.  Leveraging additional resources and capacity while maintaining the same committment to quality and customer service, positions the Peerless brand to continued growth.
